Stock forms of materials and components are covered in the second topic with sewing, draping and prototyping techniques. Lamination, quilting and piping are also described with relevant examples, including those from sportswear and furnishings. What people say...

Excellent resources! Very clear and digestible and aesthetically pleasing.

Ms Katie Klavenes. Head of Design Technology, Gordon’s School

The books are very user friendly. I love the clear layout, colours, fun illustrations and infographics throughout these resources. The way each section is broken-down clearly into individual units is a great help to both me and my students when referring to particular areas in the specification. The introduction to the designers in GCSE spec is fab and provides a brief insight into each allowing the students to understand what sort of work each designer produces.

Lauren Mills. Department of Design Technology, Trumpington Community College
