Summary

This free unit covers a range of modern industrial and commercial practices in an engaging and inspiring way. Starting with the familiar scales of production, it builds in depth by introducing new techniques and methods seen in modern manufacturing. It moves on to look at the need for efficiency in manufacturing and how systems can implement positive change and waste reduction. The use of computer systems in both designing and manufacturing is analysed for efficient workflow, digital design and modern manufacture.

What people say...

I relied heavily on your teaching materials for the AS Computer Science with AQA and I'm pleased to say the students did wonderfully well. Many of them got As, the lowest was a C and the residuals were the best in the school for an AS subject.

Paul Sloane. Head of Computer Science, Lady Manners School

Keep producing the resources, they’ve been a lifesaver for me this year.
