Pack C: Summary

For first teaching in September 2022

The first topic considers the folder structure and file naming conventions that students need to create. Topics 2 and 3 consider master pages and how they are constructed using presentation software. Content, controls, triggers and behaviours are all covered in the third topic followed by saving and exporting. A thorough consideration of the techniques to test interactive digital media is given in topic five. The last two topics show students how to review their interactive digital media product and how to suggest improvements and further developments.

The iMedia Teaching Series has been written to satisfy the specification for the elements assessed by written examination for the OCR Nationals in Creative iMedia Level 1/2 specification. Each pack contains:

  • PowerPoint slides for each lesson
  • Detailed lesson plans
  • Learning objectives and outcomes
  • Worksheets and homework activities with answers
  • End-of-unit Assessment test with answers

What people say...

The new resources from PG Online are easy to use and cover all of the required sections. They can be used 'out of the box' and are suitable for a wide range of abilities making the lessons engaging, fun and effective. Very good value and thoroughly recommended.

Mr James Stevens. Head of Computer Science, The Bishop of Hereford Bluecoat School

Although these resources are more expensive than most of the other ones out there, they have the key benefit of being able to literally pick them up and put them straight in front of teachers. The addition of worksheets and consolidation homework tasks are comprehensive and make up a full package.

These resources are exactly what non-specialists running the course need. The teacher guide makes the resources very useful for long term supply.
