This free appendix contains two short sections of A Level material that may be covered in either Year 1 or Year 2 depending on your pattern of delivery. Floating point numbers, although part of the Year 2 specification, may be taught at AS as an extension to related AS Topics in the Data representation section for example.

The unit is subdivided into two topics, plus a test. It is a theoretical unit covering the relevant sections of the AQA A Level Computer Science specification.

What people say...

PG Online have been a lifesaver for good quality schemes of work. The resources are really well thought out, really well paced and the homeworks and assessments test the core understanding of each lesson. I have also found the textbooks to be a great course companion.

Phillip McKenzie. Head of Computer Science, The Kings School

Our pupils really enjoy the range of relevant topics, as well as the mixture of activities in each lesson. Needless to say, but we shan’t look anywhere else when it comes to resourcing the teaching of our future KS5 courses.
